Right opposite One Finlayson Green, at 4 Robinson Road is a new concept store that is the spawn of both 7/11 and Coca Cola. The décor there can be summed up as retro industrial chic, what with the exposed pipes and fixtures on the ceiling, the upright leather stools and the neon lights that line the perimeter of the claw machines.
Though this store is the first of its kind in Singapore, this is something that 7/11 and Coca Cola has already done in Hong Kong. In July of this year, they opened a similar concept store in the bustling district of Tsim Sha Tsui. You can even get Coca Cola in glass bottles there!
If you’re asking yourself why you should bother coming to this concept store instead of just a regular 7/11, the answer is simple. Spend up to $7 here and you get one token to spend at the claw machine, or Gift Catchers as 7/11 calls them and win one-of-a-kind 7-Eleven and Coca-Cola Premiums. You’ll also get to be the first to try 7/11’s new hot food items, like their Angus Beef Pie, chicken nuggets, drumsticks and a range of croissants! Plus, there are bean bags, a foosball table and charging points for your perpetually dying phone.
Coca Cola fans will want to visit with friends so they can guzzle their cokes and receive a free limited edition Coca Cola tumbler. But beware! Only one will be issued for every 4 500ml bottles of coke that you purchase. So plan ahead and don’t squabble amongst yourselves, OK?
PSA: the easiest way to reach the 7/11 x Coca Cola store is to take the train on the red line to Raffles Place station and then exit through Exit J.
