Sandwiched between two toasted soft buns, the seasoned burger patty is wrapped in an omelet and lathered with a generous helping of black pepper and chili sauce. Those of you living in the west do not have to worry. The Original Pisang Keju has got you covered! Even though they do not specialize in burgers, they still offer a Burger Ramly that will definitely satisfy the burger-shaped hole in your tummy.

Just like their name suggests, the Original Pisang Keju also offers banana fritters with a variety of toppings like cheese, Nutella, and chocolate rice. Banana fritters are also found in pasar malams and can be considered as the go-to dessert.

Markozar

Another dessert staple that can be found in pasar malams is the Indonesian dessert pancake called martabak manis. The best place to get this is no other than Markozar which are known for their long lines in pasar malam. The martabak manis here are definitely worth queuing up for with their generous topping of cheese and chocolate!

Other than martabak manis, they also have banana fritters which are also generously topped with chocolates and cheese. Markozar currently has two outlets in Singapore with a new outlet in Sengkang opening soon!

One of the delights found in pasar malams has to be cheap Takoyaki! Yummy Takoyaki is affordable and as the name suggests, it is absolutely yummy! If you worry about halal certification, just know that the establishment is 100% Muslim-owned and the Takoyakis are all homemade!

For otah-otah lovers, they feature otah-otah too. You can choose from fish, prawn or squid! It is a two-in-one shop for your cravings!

If you do not know who The Famous Vadai Uncle at pasar malams is, then you are missing out on delicious vadai! The stall often has long queues, and you have to wait for them to continuously whip out freshly fried vadai that are absolutely to die for. Whether you are familiar with their delicious vadai or not, this is a must-try! Additionally, they offer keropok lekor too!

Do note that they will be closing on 30 January 2021 to move to a new location. So, make sure you place your orders soon!
