Weekends are best spent on the things we love: food, friends, and family. But sometimes, thinking of child-friendly places to go can be difficult. If your tots are in the mood for an adventure this weekend, check out our list of best things to do for family fun!
If you’re in the mood for food, then head down to The Lagoon at East Coast Park.
The freshly renovated hawker centre features over 20 different stalls offering mouth-watering grub like tender barbecued chicken wings, smoky satay, fragrant carrot cake, and more!
If the tots are fussy, have no fear. The Lagoon also has Western food for tots who love their french fries and congee for those who prefer mellower options.
And your trip would not be complete without a tall cup of sugarcane juice to wash down all the grease! If you’re feeling guilty about the calories consumed, head down to the sandy shores for a stroll and let the little ones frolic in the sand!

Another freshly reopened location, picnic-lovers can visit the grassy plains of Marina Barrage once more! With lots of space for gram-worthy picnics, Marina Barrage is a picnic lover’s dream!
You can pack your lunch and take your tots down for a leisurely picnic or bring some games for some friendly family competition. If board games aren’t for your kids, bust out some kites for some good old kite flying.
If that’s not exciting enough for the kids, a game of catch will ensure that they’ll be all tuckered out once it’s time to head home!
Address: 8 Marina Gardens Drive, 018951

If your kids are all about space travel and intergalactic adventures, skip the crowded lines at Universal Studios and head down to the Arts Science Museum instead!

Other exciting highlights include a look behind the scenes into the character conceptualization of fan favourites like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Hans Solo, and more! Fans can gush over the original storyboard drawings while tots can snap pictures with Mom and Dad with the life-sized models in the exhibit!
A must-go place for all Star Wars lovers young and old, this exhibit is sure to have your tots entertained for the whole day!
