Here’s your chance to watch the blockbuster production The Phantom of the Opera, at the comfort of your own home!
Broadway’s longest-running show is slated to dazzle an international audience as British theatre composer Andrew Lloyd Webber announced that the entire play will be live-streamed on his YouTube channel “The Show Must Go On”, which launched on 3 April 2020 to entertain the public amidst the Covid-19 pandemic around the world.

The uploaded version will be the 25th anniversary celebration performance, which played in London in 2011. It features Iranian-Canadian actor Ramin Karimloo as the Phantom and American actress Sierra Boggess as Christine. Be prepared to be enthralled by the amazing and luxurious theatrics, which will be set in full-blown Victorian splendour right at the legendary Royal Albert Hall.
As the streaming starts at 7.00pm British Summer Time on 17 April 2020, this means that it will kick off in Singapore at 2.00am the next day. Who’s up for some phantom binge-watching?
