A shopping mall in Singapore has launched an ordering and delivery website for its F&B tenants to help them through the circuit breaker measures.
Guoco Tower – formely Tanjong Pagar Centre – is home to many popular F&B brands and has served to fill the bellies of the office crowd for years. Once a crowded place with hard-to-find seats between 12pm to 1pm on weekdays, the mall is met with a ringing silence as most people take their work home.
If you are a frequent luncher at Guoco Tower and miss their food, or simply want to try out what they have to offer, you may be pleased to know that they are offering free islandwide delivery (with a minimum spend of $50) through www.gtfooddelivery.com from now till 1 June 2020. Up to three participating brands can be checked out at one time.
So far, the participating F&B brands include Ippudo, Crave, The Daily Cut, Souperstar and Malai Poke, among others.
The free islandwide delivery applies for orders with a minimum spend of S$50. The minimum order is S$30 and there is a delivery fee of S$5 for orders below S$50. As the list of participating outlets may change, do visit the website often. You can use this service from Monday to Friday between 10am and 5pm.
Unlike some food delivery platforms, there is no mark-up of prices and all sales proceeds go straight to the merchants. The delivery cost is fully subsidised by its management GuocoLand at no cost to these merchants.
This is really an awesome initiative and we hope more shopping malls will follow suit!
