Even though it’s hot and humid, these places are totally worth it to visit! If you’re the indoorsy type, don’t worry because we also threw in an indoor destination – but the outdoor ones are really the ones to look out for; all natural beauty and spectacle that doesn’t involve hiking! Try these pretty locations, it might just surprise you just how much you’ve missed out.

Punggol Promenade

The dusk sun shines its orange rays on the continuous river channel, the long stretch of the Punggol Promenade and the Punggol Point walk is both linear yet ever changing. There’s diversity to the sights, and varied nooks in the walk. It also connects to several malls and eateries, and always near bus stops or LRT stations, making it friendly the perfect long walk into night time.

Location: Nearest station – Punggol MRT The walk stretches out the whole estate length

Hort Park

Breathe in the lush scent of nature, there’s so much fresh air and probably freshly cut grass that envelopes your senses. This park is a one-stop for all things gardening related. If you ever thought of nurturing a green thumb, you could start from here! But if you’re not, there’s plenty of scenery to soak in to nurture a photog-thumb!

Henderson Waves

Feel the breeze brushing gently on your skin, you can hear distant cars passing but you’re still well above it all. In a separate place from the hustle and bustle. The bridge leads into the thick forest, where many fauna and flora biodiversity are found, it’s like a realm outside of the city jungle. A reminder of just how rich our local nature life is!

The Moon

Here’s the indoor destination as promised! It’s just a truly wonderful little niche, the bookstore-café carries itself in a whimsical fashion. With its hand-painted décor by their talented staff, and wooden shelves filled with books galore for those avid readers! And of course, their drinks and snacks; gluten-free to save some of us that disaster in the toilet. It’s an inclusive and safe little refuge from the loud outside world. Just try not to get lost, and prep your escape via google maps!

Maze Garden @ Pasir Ris Park

It’s a timeless spot, we all know about Pasir Ris Park! But the Maze Garden is surely a sight to behold, especially for those of us who either never knew or been there. Something straight out from an English garden, or perhaps Versailles-esque, it’s definitely a unique experience to roam around the geometrical hedges.

Location: Along Pasir Ris Central, Opposite Pasir Ris MRT Station, 519639
