Even my grandmother has heard of Singapore’s very own Hypebeast by now.
Dr Tan Cheng Bock – a.k.a Hypebeast – has signed on 40 pieces of GE 2020 campaign posters making it a limited-edition memorabilia for those who are looking to own a piece of this viral beast-man.
The Progress Singapore Party, or PSP in short, will be giving away these autographed posters which are mounted on plywood, with a $200 donation which will go to the party funds.
This was announced yesterday (29 August) through the Facebook post above.
At 80 years old, Dr Tan unexpectedly became an Instagram sensation while campaigning during GE 2020, after he revealed that the glasses he wears do not have lenses. Describing himself as “hypebeast” and using other millenial lingos such as “woke”, he has earned the hearts of social media users, in Singapore at least.
So if you want to have Hypebeast’s merch at home, visit the donation form here. Free delivery is included.
